Cat Food: Vegan Chilie

Ingredience:

From the cupboard-
1/2 Can of red or black beans
1/2 package of Tempea
1 can of whole tomatoes
some olive oil

Spice-
1 tps red pepper
1 tps ground cumin
1/2 tps oregano
1/2 tps fresh ground black pepper
3-4 grains of freshly ground coriander or 1/8 tsp.

Vegies-
1/4 onion (or more)-dieced
1 minced clove garlic
Other seasonal vegtables are great--fresh corn, red/green peppers, minced carrots,ect.


Start with approx 1-2 tbps. oil in a deep pot or pan. Heat the oil over medium heat, add onion and garlic and cook until onions are translucent. Add diced and cumbled tempea, stir and brown. Add beans and tomatoes. Stir and add spices. Add additional vegies.

Cook over medium heat for 20-30 mins. Serve over rice.
